My talk at the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa ‘Hidden Treasures – Forgotten Taonga Māori in Russia’ on 14 March 2021 went really well. That was so encouraging to receive a phone call from Sir Tipene O’Regan before the session! Thank you to Moana Maniapoto for her blessings too! and wonderful to see Dame Claudia Orange, Professor Priestley, Professor Brunt, the Russian Ambassador to New Zealand Georgii Zuev and many other distinguished guests in the audience. Thank you very much to the Friends of Te Papa! A big thank you for tremendous support to my family and friends and everyone who came to listen to this fascinating topic! I hope it was a great fundraising opportunity for Te Papa too.

He aha te mea nui o te ao

What is the most important thing in the world?

He tangata, he tangata, he tangata

It is the people, it is the people, it is the people.

And kia ora to “Te Kaharoa” AUT e-Journal and Professor Paul Moon for publishing my research on the topic last year. https://www.tekaharoa.com/index.php/tekaharoa/article/view/295

Also thank you to Radio New Zealand for their interest to this topic, my live interview with Jesse Mulligan here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/radio-new-200-to-47185223
